Are you up for an exciting opportunity to influence and set the direction as Head of Social Media and Digital Marketing across 20 countries in JYSK NORDIC?

E-Business is a vital part of the expansion strategy of JYSK NORDIC. One of the strategic ambitions for JYSK NORDIC is to drive customers into their stores and to their homepages. The new Head of Social Media and Digital Marketing must, therefore, have an international approach with focus on all countries and global solutions.

From day one, you will be involved in driving the digital marketing department and constantly challenge the department’s actions and results of the traffic and loyalty-creating creative actions. You will get the opportunity to use your experience and contribute to the business of getting relevant traffic to all local sites and in the end to sell more home products at www.JYSK.xx.

As Head of Social Media and Digital Marketing you will be managing JYSK’s social and digital actions, which engage a lot of different key stakeholders across the countries and within suppliers.

The general responsibilities for the position are:

  • Staff management
  • Social media strategy
  • Responsible for attracting traffic to all our homepages through Google AdWords and other channels
  • Increase the awareness and image of JYSK through social media activities
  • The overall responsibility for JYSK’s digital marketing activities and hereby secure that ROMI for digital activities is in a positive development
  • Social media integration and development
  • Digital marketing activities in close cooperation with media agency
  • Reporting of results according to KPIs
  • Responsible for developing the digital marketing budget and for close follow up on deviations
  • Responsible for the global content calendar to secure that all activities will be supported by digital medias

You have
practical experience within Social Media and Digital Management for at least 3 years, where you have worked with online marketing at various international levels. You like being both strategic and performing hands on with ongoing optimization of online campaigns. You have a high passion for and in-depth knowledge and understanding of online marketing media, tools, and tactics, which allow you to challenge and see new opportunities.

You are a motivating manager with a grounded ‘we can’ attitude. This combined with a data driven approach gives you the confidence to take the lead and guide other stakeholders in online marketing activities. You enjoy working in an international environment with tight deadlines. You have a critical eye as well as a passion for excellence and quality. Furthermore, you are able to conform to the norm as well as to propose ideas and new ways of working.
