IT Coordinator

Creating IT ownership in a fast growing biotech company

As IT Coordinator at Ascendis Pharma the main success criteria is to create ownership of projects and tasks and to be able to navigate in an international environment. You will participate in IT projects and develop strong skills and in depth knowledge of the business and IT environment.

You report directly to the Vice President of Information & Technology and you will be part of an international team at Ascendis Pharma

Your main tasks are to:

  • Perform and document Sarbanes-Oxley controls
  • Coordinate support requests with service providers
  • Manage IT projects
  • Perform/manage pre-analyses for new systems, applications, technology and software
  • Administer Business users
  • Manage software licenses and internet domains
  • Maintain SOX and IT Quality systems (SOPs)
  • IT ad hoc tasks

Ideally, you hold a relevant university degree, preferably a Master of Information Technology or Computer Science. Maybe you are newly graduated, looking for your first job, or perhaps you have work experience within IT consulting, IT coordination or application support. You are motivated to learn new skills and to perform a wide variety of tasks.

To be successful in the position, it is important to have knowledge of or experience with:

  • Cloud and application solutions
  • Service management
  • IT compliance GxP
  • IT project management

You are a flexible, adaptable, and resilient person with a hands-on attitude. You are pragmatic with an open and communicative approach and with the ability to develop effective working relationships with employees at all levels. You are able to handle and deliver on routine jobs when necessary, while at the same time having the ability to move projects forward.
