In order to strengthen the legal team, Genmab is looking for Legal Advisor who will be based in Copenhagen.
As Legal Adviser at Genmab you will be working as part of the legal team to achieve key legal milestones necessary for the rapid growth of the company. The main focus of your job will be reviewing, drafting and negotiating agreements within areas of manufacturing, pre-clinical and clinical operations.
You will work closely with devoted colleagues around the organization with the overall goal of developing new and innovative medicines to patients. The Legal Adviser reports to the Senior Director, Head of Legal and will be part of a very dedicated, experienced, and well-functioning team.
You are lawyer (Cand.Jur) or attorney-at-law preferably from one of the major law firms. The successful applicant will already have a proven track record in delivering legal support in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry and has experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating manufacturing, pre-clinical and clinical operations contracts.
You must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in reviewing, drafting and negotiating pharmaceutical agreements such as clinical trial agreements, research agreements, manufacturing agreements, license agreements and material transfer agreements. Experience in working with intellectual property rights, in particular patent rights from a contractual perspective is a requirement. Data protection knowledge and working experience is an advantage but not a requirement.
You are proficient in English on a professional level, both written and spoken, as you will be working in a very international environment with strong alliances outside Danish borders.
You are a person with a strong ability to work in a heavily matrixed organization. On a personal level, you have a fine sense of quality combined with personal drive and a cheerful attitude. You are thorough, open-minded, possess good cooperation skills, which enable you to establish professional relations internally and externally. You have a solid attention to details with the capability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines. You are independent, dialog oriented, service minded and good at stakeholder management.
