Join Legal in an exciting biotech company
Orphazyme is in the process of expanding its pipeline with more drug candidates and, at the same time, Orphazyme is putting much emphasis on the further clinical development of its products. As the clinical development program for arimoclomol progresses, Orphazyme intends to refine andfinalize its commercialization strategy and build its commercial structure and operations.
As Legal Advisor at Orphazyme, you will be working as part of the team to achieve key legal milestones necessary for the growth of the company. The main focus of your job will be reviewing, drafting, and negotiating agreements within areas of business development, manufacuturing, pre-clinical, and clinical operations.
With direct report to the Chief Financial Officer.
Your main tasks are reviewing, drafting, and negotiating agreements such as:
- Collaboration agreements
- Partner agreements
- Licence agreements
- Clinical trial agreements
- Research agreements
- Manufacturing agreements
- Master services agreements
- Material transfer agreements
In addition, you will perform ad-hoc legal tasks.
You have a proven track record in delivering legal support in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, and you have 5-7 years of work experience. Moreover, you have 3-5 years of relevant work experience within the pharmaceutical field preferably from a pharmaceutical/biotech company or a law firm advising such companies. You have extensive experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating agreements and have experience in working with intellectual property rights in particular patent rights. Finally, you have knowledge about relevant pharmeceutical agreements.
You are educated as a lawyer (Cand.Jur.) or are an Attorney-at-law preferably from one of the major law firms. You can also be Cand.Merc.Jur. with extensive experience from the pharmaceutical industry.
You are a person who is comfortable with a risk-based approach to decision making and who is comfortable in a dynamic environment in which priorities and drivers can quickly change. You possess a high level of drive, initiative, and persistance combined with a detail- and goal-oriented approach to your tasks. You are business-driven, able to communicate clearly towards upper management and to stand firm.
