Account Manager

As Account Manager at Bio-Rad Laboratories, you will be responsible for developing and executing the territory business plan for the Clinical Diagnostic products in Denmark and for continuing the rapid growth Bio-Rad is experiencing. The primary focus of your job will be to sell and promote Bio-Rad Laboratories´ Diacnostic product line of laboratory equipment and controls (Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, Autoimmunity, Virology, Serology and Immunohematology) to costumers, who are mainly hospitals or forensic institutes.

You will be part of a Nordic team that works within Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway with the goal of meeting the territory sales goals assigned for the region. Your job will be to plan and execute customer visits and other field based activities according to marketing and sales activity plans.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drive the sales process by using your product understanding, thereby delivering advice of high quality and simultaneously understanding the customers’ needs
  • Plan and execute customer visits and other field based activities according to marketing and sales activity plans on your own and with Field Specialists or other Bio-Rad Laboratories personnel
  • Recognize and demonstrate Bio-Rad Laboratories´ complete commitment to customer satisfaction by providing prompt resolutions of customer problems or concerns
  • Attend relevant fairs, exhibitions and tradeshows

You will work closely with devoted colleagues around the organization and worldwide, with the overall goal of selling the latest innovations in laboratory equipment and controls. The Account Manager reports to the Nordic Sales Manager based in Denmark and will be part of a very dedicated and experienced team.

Ideally, you hold a Cand.Scient degree within biochemistry or microbiology or similar, or you have a background from extensive work in a laboratory, with knowledge of diagnostics within one or more of the following areas: Diabetes, Quality Control, Autoimmune Testing, Immunohaematology, or Infectious Diseases Testing. Furthermore, you have 2-5 years of sales experience in selling products to customers within the Hospital Sector.

You are proficient in English and Danish on a professional level, both written and spoken, and you master Microsoft Office.

You have a personal commitment to delivering results. On a personal level, you have a fine sense of quality combined with personal drive and a positive “can do” attitude. You are thorough, open-minded and possess good cooperation skills, which enables you to establish warm and respectful professional relations with your costumers. You have a good sense for quality and details, you are a trustworthy and motivated person, and you are accurate with a logical and critical mindset.
