Newly established function with an opportunity to shape and create your own job

Genmab has a robust pipeline of innovative human antibody therapeutics and a number of strategic partnerships are already in place with international blue chip companies. The company is continuing its positive growth and development, striving towards its goal of improving the lives of cancer patients with unmet medical needs. Genmab is in the process of expanding its clinical pipeline with more drug candidates, and at the same time, Genmab is preparing itself to launch its own products.

As Commercial Supply Chain Lead at Genmab, you will establish and maintain commercial manufacturing of products through building the commercial unit of CMC operations that will support Genmab’s vision to have their products on the market. All manufacturing activities are outsourced and are performed in a proven and establised manufacturing network. In this role, you will secure a seamless technical transfer from development to product supply and make sure all technical operations within the supply chain will satisfy the requirements for launch and a sustainable and steady commercial supply. An ERP system is being established and will be in place by 2019. Finally, the Commercial Supply Chain Lead will be in charge of building a small but effective group.

With direct report to VP CMC Operations.

Your main tasks are:

  • Overall responsible for commercial manufacturing with CMOs
  • Build commercial supply organization
  • Develop commercial manufacturing strategy for partnered programs
  • Establish processes for transfer from development to commercial
  • Prepare launch readiness strategy in collaboration with commercial team
  • Establish KPIs and control charts with CMOs
  • Establish distribution network through 3PLs
  • Establish a serialization roadmap
  • Contribute to ERP system set-up
  • Build and maintain forecasting processes with sales

You have 5-10 years of experience as commercial manufacturing/technical operations lead from the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. You have a proven track record of working with manufacturing and launch of biopharmaceuticals and have experience in supporting the transfer for biotech products from late stage development through launch to commercial. Preferably, you have participated in building commercial biopharmaceutical operations in an international and outsourced environment. You are proficient in English at a professional level, both written and spoken.

You have a Master’s Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or similar.

As a person, you are highly analytical, comfortable with numbers, and capable of acting independently. You have a highly developed ability to cooperate with multiple stakeholders in an international company, both internally and externally. You are adept at planning and are very thorough in the execution of tasks. You plan and deliver in a highly structured way, you deliver on your promises and are able of keeping an eye on the details while understanding and working within a larger framework.
