Commercial Excellence Lead

Ferring is on an exciting transformational journey and in that connection, they are looking for a Commercial Excellence Lead in a newly established role.

As Commercial Excellence Lead, you will provide operational and analytical support to the Head of Commercial Excellence. You will ensure operational support and delivery of Commercial Excellence processes. Moreover, you are responsible for ensuring that high-quality business information is available (sales, competitors, market, and sales force activity) for the relevant functions in Ferring.

Your main tasks are:

  • Deliver data research and analysis to generate key market insights such as market and competitor analysis, key growth drivers, market opportunities and market trends, etc.
  • Perform regular (monthly/quarterly) Market Share trend (MS) analysis and MS-Gap analysis vs targets and reports to management
  • Deliver budgets for future sales, measure effects of new competitors’ launches in the market, and recommend optimal promotional mix
  • Seek and establish relationships with providers of primary and secondary data sources and consulting services and marketing research agencies
  • Track competitors’ market sales data and draw up the necessary aggregate analyses (market, area, products) in compliance with the specifications agreed with the different Business Units
  • Ensure availability of high-quality management tools for tracking of performance (KPIs and dashboards)
  • Lead continuation of launch of new OCE CRM system (IQVIA) in the Nordics including implementation of new functionalities and practical support to Sales and Business Unit Heads

You have 3-5 years of experience from a similar role within sales, account management, and/or sales operations within pharma perhaps as a trusted advisor, e.g. by having worked several years in management consulting or similar. You have experience with Business Intelligence and with strategic planning/brand planning. Moreover, you have experience with CRM systems (preferably OCE CRM(IQVIA)) and are able to translate commercial processes into system requirements. You have an analytical mindset and can digest the data and business information and suggest the necessary adjustments to commercial activity that permits you to achieve optimal sales results. Finally, you have experience working with a field sales force and/or with commercial processes.

You have a University Degree in Administration, Marketing, Finance, or similar.

You are a person who works structured and independently, while also being an outgoing team player and an excellent collaborator and communicator. You are used to influencing cross-functional teams toward the execution of a strategic initiative. You are curious and see opportunities instead of limitations. Finally, you are proactive and able to get things done in a timely manner.
