Do you want to be in charge of building and implementing the new business for Terma’s products with entry into the wind and drone segment?
As VP Commercial Business Development at Terma you will play a key role in the further development of the Surveillance & Mission Systems (SMS) business and will have the mandate to challenge the status quo and create new opportunities professionally and personally.
With direct report to SVP, Head of Surveillance & Mission Systems (SMS), the VP Commercial Business Development will be responsible for analysis of new markets, building of pipeline, and entering of strategic partnerships. A smaller commercial business development team will report into the role.
Your main tasks are:
As a professional, you have a commercial mindset and a proven track record of both planning go-to-market strategies and execution of which you have a minimum of 8 years of professional experience from surveillance, wind, drone, or security industry (or similar).
Further, you have proven results in converting the pipeline into sales. This means that you must have international experience within commercial business development activities, specifically from the US. In addition, you possess excellent financial knowledge of how financial data and strategic activities are interrelated.
The position as VP Commercial Business Development requires an equal amount of experience in international business development and sales of complex products. As a person, you must therefore be motivated by initiating dialogue and entering new relations, e.g., strategic partnerships. This communicative skill is also crucial as you will motivate and manage a small but highly skilled team of sales representatives.
You have a Master’s Degree in Business Economics and/or Engineering.

Travelling: Approximately 80 international travel days per year.
Domicile: The position is placed either in Terma’s headquarters in Lystrup or in Søborg, Denmark.
