A unique opening for a Scientist – Principal Scientist with expertise in Antibody Engineering, Molecular Biology and Drug Discovery
Symphogen is the Antibody Center of Excellence in the Servier group with responsibility for discovery and early development of novel high-quality antibody-based therapeutic drug candidates for the treatment of cancer, immuno-inflammatory and other diseases. To help us on this mission the Antibody Technology team has a unique new opening for a creative and motivated specialist to support us in our efforts to discover and develop the next generation of antibody-based drug candidates.
The initial objective for you will be to implement and utilize phage and yeast display workflows for antibody discovery and engineering, working closely together with skilled colleagues in the Antibody Technology team. You will have access to state-of-the-art antibody libraries, equipment and lab facilities for the implementation and use.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:
You have experience within phage and yeast display, molecular biology and ideally antibody drug discovery workflows. Your qualifications will be matched with the right job level and the job will offer great opportunities to develop new skills. You must have a keen interest in implementing new technologies and try new approaches, including establishing new procedures and workflows, work with new antibody formats and participate in the multifaceted process of selecting antibody drug lead candidates.
You have a Ph.D. degree in immunology, molecular biochemistry, or other related biological science, combined with years of industry experience in drug discovery.
