Taking on the role of an experienced Scientist at Adcendo, you will be a key part of their groundbreaking research activities across all pipeline assets, and support and guide the team daily.

You will drive cell biology & molecular biology studies across a range of techniques, including, but not limited to, flow cytometry, immuno-fluorescence, and 3D-culture as well as transfections/transductions and expression analysis.

The focus of the position lies in the experimental evaluation and validation of molecular targets within oncology, as well as the characterization of antibody-drug conjugates directed against such targets.

The candidate should be familiar with the establishment of target validation strategies, their experimental execution, and documentation to support the decision to advance assets forward through a pipeline into the clinic (translational work).

With direct report to Chief Scientific Officer.

Main tasks embrace, but are not limited to:

• Bringing additional experience to the Adcendo research team and actively contributing to the progress of early-stage projects into pre-clinical as well as clinical stages as the company pipeline progresses
• Stakeholder management, involvement in the management of CRO projects across various scientific focus areas
• Preparing reports and relevant research documentation to meet internal and external (regulatory) requirements
• Participating in the patent filing of new findings
• Communicating through articles, posters, business partners, and conferences

 Your qualifications are

• A PhD in an oncology-related area, and the ability to combine strong analytical skills and knowledge with practical experiences
• +5 years of post-doctoral experience in the field of molecular oncology with a demonstrated record of publications in high-impact journals and conferences
• A strong skillset in antibody-related research and up-to-date, hands-on experience in relevant cell biology, molecular biology, and biochemical techniques
• It is desirable if you have gained relevant work experience from the biotech/pharma industry or guidance of technicians or scientists
• It is also desirable if you have practical know-how in the field of translational research
• It is a plus if you possess experience with IND-relevant documentation processes
• You are fluent in English at all levels

Traveling: Approx. 10 days per year.
