Pioneer the development of a new class of drugs halting disease progression and restoring function

As Global Medical Manager at Vicore Pharma you will be the responsible physician for clinical trials, overseeing patient safety, reviewing clinical data, and providing guidance on medical issues for Vicore’s lead candidate drug in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. 

With direct report to CMO Rohit Batta.  

Your main responsibilities include:  

• Serving as a core member of the trial team 
• Medical responsibility for the clinical trials with active participation in patient eligibility assessment, study design questions, and addressing urgent safety questions
• Give medical and strategic safety input to the Vicore Drug Safety Council and oversee IDMCs
• Participate in the development of innovative, cost- and time-effective, and scientifically sound clinical development plans
• Providing leadership to the development of key clinical trial documents
• Contributing to the development of regulatory documents

Your qualifications include over three years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry, where you have been actively involved in the clinical development of investigational new drugs. This experience extended to your role as the Sponsor’s medical expert, where you have been responsible for overseeing trials managed through global clinical outsourcing. Additionally, you have contributed to regulatory documents and submissions, and engaged in interactions with health authorities. 

You are a medical doctor with hands-on pulmonology/ILD trial experience. 

You are a person who possesses a dynamic combination of qualities, including initiative, organizational skills, and the ability to seamlessly handle multiple tasks. Your communication style is characterized by clarity, making you an adept leader in scientific and clinical settings. Your proactive approach, commitment, and energy set you apart. With exceptional problem-solving abilities and a “can-do attitude,” you thrive in challenging situations. Furthermore, your open and approachable personality makes you a pleasure to work with.

Travelling: Approx. 10 days per year.
