HR Business Partner

Act global, develop local – with a great HR impact within Unit IT.

 

As HR Business Partner at Unit IT, you will be responsible for driving all HR activities in the company in close cooperation with the HR Centre of Excellence in USTC. The companies in USTC cover activities from the supply of bunkers to the shipping industry, tanker shipping, door-to-door logistics, risk management, and IT activities. The group consists of independent companies such as Bunker Holding Group, SDK FREJA, Uni-Tankers, Selected Car Group, CM Biomass and Unit IT.

In 2003, the USTC group embraced a digitised labour market by converting the internal IT department to an independent IT company – now known as Unit IT.

Unit IT is a full-service provider of IT infrastructure, operations, and support to small and medium-sized enterprises. The company has more than 90 dedicated employees across eight locations in Denmark. From highly skilled experts in infrastructure, cloud, security, and support as well as SQL and BI specialists.

With a direct report to the CFO in Unit IT, you will play an essential role as the key driver of integrating HR deliveries within Unit IT. You will have a dotted reporting line to the CHRO in USTC HR.

You will work closely with the management team and employees within Unit IT to ensure that all HR-related initiatives are aligned with and prioritised according to the company’s goals and business plans and delivered on a local, regional, and global scale. You will also act as a key playmaker incorporating necessary overall USTC HR deliveries in Unit-IT along with the USTC HR team.

Furthermore, as the key HR representative, the HR Business Partner will be part of building the yearly HR roadmap to ensure that the operational priorities and strategic projects are converted into tangible value-driven HR deliverables.

As HR Business Partner, you will be a part of the larger USTC HR team and be supported by specialist knowledge and competencies from the USTC HR Centre of Excellence concerning design, execution and continuous follow-up on HR initiatives and deliverables.

Your qualifications come from a minimum of 3+ years of directly related HR experience – preferably from an international organisation or consultancy firm. Experience related to IT is preferable but not a requirement.

You have worked with a broad range of HR activities. You have a clear hands-on and operational approach to solving HR-related matters, meaning you have a high level of business, commercial, and strategic understanding.

You thrive in the duality of working with tactical HR business planning while also being closely involved in the daily HR operations.

Domicile and travelling: Primary workplaces are either Unit IT – Aarhus, Denmark, or Unit IT – Middelfart. You are also expected to work from the USTC HR office in Middelfart occasionally. Regardless, the position will, from the beginning, take place at the Unit IT office in Middelfart.
