As a Power System Engineer at Ramboll, you will be part of a department and area of highly experienced and skilled colleagues within the electrical sector. The department covers all aspects of the electrification project, from early feasibility-concept-feed studies to handover and asset management. In addition, the team delivers projects worldwide, focusing on supporting the green transition in all their deliverables.

In general, for the position, you will: urge and mentor the team in optimization and technology solutions within electrification.

With direct report to the Senior Chief Project Manager.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Have profound knowledge of substation design both on- and offshore
• Knowledge of on- and offshore cable systems
• Generally, a broad knowledge of electrical engineering
• Have profound experience leading larger projects involving HV and MV equipment
• Manage time on projects to suit deadlines and complete their assigned tasks as stipulated by the Ramboll Project Managers
• Ensure Ramboll procedures are implemented and prepare tenders and contract documentation
• Mentor and develop junior members of the team as well as complete detailed designs and supervise and review the work of others in this function

For this position, you need to have experience with electrical infrastructure, transmission & distribution grids, substations, etc. Further, you must have excellent communication skills in both English and Danish (verbal and written).

Ideally, you hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

You are a person who enjoys building strong relations with clients and conveying your technical knowledge convincingly. Moreover, you are a good team player who likes sharing your knowledge.
