As Senior Project Manager at GEA, you will be overall responsible for the execution of projects at GEA’s New Food Business Unit. The projects range from 1 to 15 Mio. €, and you will lead the project’s execution from the initial quotation phase right up to commissioning, handover, and project close. You will act as GEA’s representative to the customer and will directly interface with the customer throughout all project phases. You will ensure that tasks are coordinated and carried out in a manner that meets customer and GEA expectations.
With reference to Head of Project Execution, you will be part of a newly established organisation, initially focusing on solutions for the New Food Industry. GEA New Food is an innovative unit whose ambition is to rethink the future of food production through biotechnology. GEA offers complete lines as well as individual solutions covering key processes such as mixing and fermentation, cultivation in bioreactors, downstream separation and filtration, packaging, and bottling. With these, GEA helps customers create plant-based foods and beverages, cultured meat, cell-based milk, cultivated cheese, and other novel foods (e.g., insect-based protein).
Your main tasks and responsibilities are:
Your qualifications are a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management from medium-large sized projects, preferably international. You have a successful track record of completing projects as well as experience with all phases of a project. PMI or similar certification is an advantage.
You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to facilitate and steer project teams, establishing clarity and direction along with building a good and positive atmosphere.

Travelling: Approximately 40-60 travelling days per year.
