Do you have solid experience with strategic sourcing, and do you want to be part of a newly established group function in a global company?
As Strategic Sourcing Manager at Actona Group, you become part of a newly established group function in the company’s HQ in Denmark. With direct report to the VP for Strategic Sourcing and Indirect Spend, you become responsible for the strategic sourcing of the global raw materials for five upholstery productions in Poland, Lithuania, and Ukraine. The overall goal is to benefit from economies of scale and synergies, while optimising the global raw material sourcing processes across the entities.
In addition, your areas of responsibilities include analysis of the raw material market to create insight and a professional foundation for decisions across Actona Group.
Your main tasks are:
Your qualifications are at least five years of documented experience from a similar position with a tried and tested toolbox within strategic sourcing, being familiar with the raw material markets, and having a basic understanding of production. Moreover, experience with professional sourcing management from the production industry is an advantage. You are strong-willed, visionary, have ambitious goals, and have a passion for optimising, building relationships and working in a new team environment.
You have a relevant cand.merc. degree, for example, within sourcing and supply chain management or similar.
As a person, you are analytical and curious about the existing conditions, as well as future tendencies. Additionally, you are energetic, extroverted, and able to create good and loyal relationships both internally in the company and externally with collaborators and suppliers.

Travelling: 50 to 60 travel days annually.
