Finance > Reporting and Compliance > External Reporting & M&A Support

You will be an important team member in the department External Reporting & M&A Support which is part of Vestas’ Group Finance organization. It is a committed team of 4 motivated and skilled specialists. The department is responsible for informative and high-quality external reporting and providing insights to Executive Management as preparation for quarterly and annual investor presentations. The team is responsible for enabling the finance organization to comply with Vestas Reporting principles (Vestas GAAP). Last but least the department is involved in and responsible for the execution of finance related M&A activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and ensuring high quality of the External Annual Report and prepare audit material for the auditors
• Solving and acting as a sparring partner on complex accounting matters
• Assist implementing new IFRS standards, preparing and enhancing Vestas GAAP Guidelines, prepare for and run Vestas GAAP Trainings and offer consultancy
• Participate in finance related M&A activities

Qualifications

• Experience from working with IFRS from an audit firm or from a similar position in another company
• Ability to assess financial risks and implement key control activities to reduce the risks to an acceptable level
• Ability to identify and involve business stakeholders
• Experience with finance related M&A activities 

Competencies

• Good level of theoretical accounting / IFRS knowledge combined with solid practical experience on complex accounting matters from another Nasdaq large cap company or experience from IFRS reporting from an audit firm
• Good communication and presentation skills and ability to handle stakeholders and actively engage them
• Good project management skills
• Good analytical and systematical skills
• Professional English skills – both oral and written
• You act with integrity and accountability, take initiative and ownership and can work without supervision
