Analytical Coordinator

Unique opportunity to take part in the development of antibody products


As Analytical Coordinator at Symphogen you will work with advancing antibody targets through lead selection and clinical development.

You will join the Analytical Development department, and you will contribute to the development projects by leading and managing the analytical sub-team consisting of colleagues from the analytical support laboratory, from characterization, and from bioassay. All internal analytical activities are planned and executed through this team.

Moreover, you will be part of a project-driven organization and an important member of the CMC core project team. You will work in cross-functional and international collaboration with colleagues from other departments to ensure development progress of Symphogen antibody lead candidates.

With direct report to Director of Analytical Development.

Your main tasks are:

  • Building the analytical strategies, e.g., the control strategy and the reference materials strategy
  • Manage the outsourced activities e.g., establishment and validation of analytical procedures at the CMOs
  • Preparation of the analytical parts of the documentation for the authorities (module 3)
  • Lead and manage analytical sub-team
  • Act as subject matter expert within Analytical Development in the CMC core project team

Your qualifications are several years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry with CMC development of biologics, preferably from late-stage development and registration. Experience from analytical testing of biopharmaceuticals is an advantage. Knowledge about GMP is an advantage although you will be working in a non-GMP environment.

You have a relevant Master’s degree within pharmaceuticals, biologics or similar.

You are a person who works independently, and you are a strong collaborator with a positive and enthusiastic mindset. You are structured in your approach to tasks, and you are skilled within project coordination. Moreover, you are self-driven, highly motivated and thrive in a busy and diverse working environment. You prioritize and organize work assignments and processes in a lean manner, both independently as well as in teams.

Travelling: 10-20 days per year.
