Can you drive financial performance and act as a Financial Business Partner for the Plant Director in a leading international industrial company?


As Business Controller, Operations at NKT, you are the single point of contact for all operational matters supporting the Plant Director at the factory in Asnæs, Denmark. You will ensure management reporting and budgeting/forecasting on time in high quality. You will secure financial transparency and contribute with deep-dive analytics and performance management. As part of the manufacturing network in the Applications Business Line, you play a key role in driving the business agenda and achieving its strategic goals.

Some of your main tasks are:

  • Act as Operations Business Partner for Plant Director
  • Perform timely and high-quality business control, explain the operations financial results, drive one set of numbers, and create full transparency in key areas
  • Budgets and Forecasts for Operations
  • Implement and drive standard processes together with a local team
  • Maintain financial investment overview (Capex) and be the go-to person for business cases
  • Support risk management in the plant

You come with at least three years of professional work experience in a finance function working as a Business Controller, Finance Business Partner, Operations Controller, or the like. Part of that experience could be from manufacturing companies with regards to strong and solid business controlling, reporting, performance management, and standardization of processes.

You have a relevant financial education and preferably experience in an international business environment. You have experience with business control in production or supply chains. Furthermore, it is required that you have excellent verbal and written English skills. Knowledge of Danish can be an advantage.

As a person, you must be result driven and work well organized and with high attention to detail. Also, you like to work in a challenging and changing environment, which you approach with a can-do attitude and a strong drive for continuous learning and improvement. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, which allows you to work well with people at all levels in a global organization.

Traveling: Expect 5-10 travel days per year.

Domicile: The position is located in Asnæs, Denmark, with the opportunity to work 1-2 days from home.
