Nielsen is seeking an ambitious and strategic profile that will execute on a Go-to-market strategy for new product launch in Denmark
As Business Development Manager at Nielsen you will be a trusted advisor to the clients, ensuring they achieve success with the data and platform-based solutions and maximize their return on investment – leading to strong market adoption and growth across the product portfolio. You will be responsible for understanding customer business objectives, leading frequent discussions with senior executives across agencies, advertisers, and media owners from Marketing, Media Planning, and Consumer Insights functions to confirm value and discover new needs.
With direct report to the Market Leader Denmark you will partner with other members of the Commercial Team as well as the Product and Solutions Leadership teams to ensure clients will get the most from the game-changing insights and products at Nielsen. In addition, you will work with Nordics colleagues to help expand the product footprint in the region.
Your main tasks are:
You are experienced from the Media Demand (advertisers, agencies) or Supply (media owners) sides with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience. You are used to drive projects to completion with excellent project management, organisational and time management skills. You are a self-starter with a strong business acumen and a strategic mindset, and you possess excellent interpersonal skills and thrives in having many interactions with stakeholders and making long-lasting customer relations.
You have a relevant education within a Business, Media or Data and Insights discipline. You must be proﬁcient in Google-suite: Google Sheets, G-Mail, Google Slides etc. and you have solid working knowledge of enterprise software applications and services designed for the Media industry (e.g., AdvantEdge, Nielsen Clear Decisions, Nielsen Digital Ad Ratings) and customer relationship management tools like Salesforce.com. You have strong verbal and written communication skills in both Danish and English language and are conﬁdent in presenting internally and externally.
