As Commercial Manager at KMC, you will be responsible for KMC’s commercial activities with protein for Feed and Petfood applications. You will have your own customer base in Europe, and a global coordinating responsibility, mainly within Europe, the USA, and Asia.
Today, the protein within the category of Feed and Petfood is mainly sold and applied in the production of feed for piglets. Among other things, you will be responsible for expanding the application areas, focusing on new customer segments and markets. In addition, you will manage KMC’s commercial activities within Feed and Petfood, including daily cooperation with distributors and, in general, ensuring the implementation of KMC HQ interests and policies.
With direct report to Global Sales Director
Your main tasks are:
You have a cultural and commercial understanding and international sales experience with a close focus on product and price management. In addition, you have a global mindset, knowing the value of strategic partnerships and alliances with customers, obtaining the best possible base for the continuous growth of KMC.
You have an excellent national and international market overview and can react proactively to changes. Ideally, you have 3-5 years of experience in feed applications. However, you can also have experience in the Petfood-, Ingredients-, or Food industry. In addition, you have experience in analysing the market and customer needs and making business cases to ensure the most optimal product portfolio.
You have a master’s degree in economics or business administration, or a related area of education.
You are a strong communicator and a team player with solid commercial skills motivated by working in a dynamic environment. Moreover, you have strong coordination and leadership skills and can work systematically and carefully. In addition, you are responsible and able to work simultaneously with several tasks.
KMC offers a steep learning curve with room for personal and professional development.
Travelling: Approximately 40–50 days annually.
