Commercial Product Manager

Become a part of an international manufacturing organization gearing for double digit growth.


The company has a very ambitious growth agenda and to reach the goals, focus on market and customers needs must be further enhanced in a complex technical environment. The company is very product driven with longlasting B-t-B customer relations and operating internationally.

As Commercial Product Manager you will be heading strategically important product lines in the portfolio. With a revised Product Marketing Strategy focus is on creating clear and trackable strategic plans including product roadmap and portfolio descriptions defining value propositions.

Your main tasks are:

  • Analyze market and customers​ and closely monitor and document market development, competitors, innovations, customers’ movements and trends in the market and industry
  • Own product strategy defining customer segments and product offering which feeds into NPD and provides market-based input to new investments
  • Outline business cases and pricing strategy for new developments
  • Track and analyze product performance, provide margin guidelines and identify margin optimization initiatives
  • Manage product portfolio from cradle to grave
  • Marketing content creation and training of sales for new product launches
  • Definition of value propositions and Unique Selling Propositions
  • Close collaboration with teams involved such as marketing, sales, customer service, technical product management etc.

You have a relevant Commercal Master’s Degree and at least 3 years of Commercial Product Management experience from a similar complex organization in an international manufacturing organization with responsibility for a product portfolio – either B-t-B or B-t-C. Furthermore, you have solid experience with lifecycle management, pricing strategy/margin guidelines, product launches, competitive analysis and customers research, turning market needs into clear strategies and executing these.

You are a person with an analytic approach using facts and analysis to define next steps and create business cases for new developments and investments. You are proactive, self-driven, hands-on, and decisive and you also possess a solid core of calmness and self-confidence. Because of your outgoing and professional personality, you are a master of stakeholder management even in political and traditional organizations up for a change.
