With overall responsibility for communication within both JYSK and LARS LARSEN GROUP
As Communications Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s communication activities, both externally and internally, are carried out optimally, based on the overall concepts and values across the Family owned business in JYSK and LARS LARSEN GROUP.
With a direct report to CEO in JYSK and CEO of LARS LARSEN GROUP, you must proactively seek influence with stakeholders such as the press, media, NGOs, political decision-makers, and other relevant networks, and hereby understand how the stakeholders operate/react, and be capable of adjusting the communications appropriately.
As Communications Director, you will work as a trusted communication advisor for the senior management team finding it natural to keep the management informed by being proactive on communication-related topics.
You will perform the following tasks:
You have a minimum of 5 years of experience from a similar position within corporate and commercial communications, combined with education as a journalist or a relevant Master’s degree in communication. Through your work, you have gained practical experience from a similar position within consumer products/FMCG or obtained experience as a journalist or media advisor.
As a person, you can clearly communicate and inspire colleagues and external partners. You have flair for, a great interest in, and a future-oriented view of local and global market mechanisms and social structure of interest and importance for both JYSK and LLG. Furthermore, you work with an eye for both the big picture and the small details and thrive in a position with many stakeholders at several organisational levels. You also possess a sense of humour and like working with a team.
