Director Business Development

Exciting opportunity to become a key agent in a well-funded agile company poised for major growth

 

As Director Business Development at UNEEG, you will be responsible for finding, maturing, and presenting business opportunities and market trends in a role of high visibility. You will lead the implementation of such approved opportunities. You will also be the key agent in driving the market access process across markets, from strategy and planning to specific execution.

With direct report to CCO Steen Hesthaven.

Your main tasks are:

  • Lead/drive commercial and market access planning and execution
  • Strategy and business case development on already defined projects for go/no-go decisions by CCO/CxO
  • Propose and develop market entry strategies for subsequent implementation
  • Identify and present new potential opportunities fitting UNEEGs long-term goals
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with prospects as well as the clinical community
  • Be a strong team player alongside Sales, Clinical, Technology, R&D, and Product Management

Your qualifications include running projects from concept to contract, derived from experience in the Pharmaceutical and/or in the MedTech industry. The broad knowledge of these industries gives you insights into market trends and industry-leading practices.

You have experience with product launches and demonstrated track records of growth strategies that include core business expansion, adjacencies, and white space opportunities.

You have an MSc or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field: Business, Medical, MedTech, Biomedical Engineering, or similar. You are fluent in English and master written English at a professional level. Preferably also Danish.

You are a person with commercial and technical insight and possess strong analytical skills. You are a skilled team player that can ‘get the job done’ while having a personal drive for execution and the ability to self-motivate. You can logically structure a narrative and develop accompanying presentations for senior management. Finally, you have solid project management, interpersonal and organizational skills from global headquarters.

Traveling: 20-30 days of travel activity per year related to the planning and implementation of Business development activities will be required.
