Exciting market access leadership position
Merck is experiencing an exciting transformational period and is looking for a strong leader within Market Access to take part in this journey with new launches to come.
As Director Market Access, you will be responsible for market access activities for the Danish market with a focus on the following therapeutic areas: neurology, immuno-oncology, immunology, fertility and endocrinology. The Director Market Access will be part of a strong leadership team.
With direct report to the Managing Director & General Manager.
Your main tasks are:
Your qualifications are at least 5 years of experience within market access from the pharmaceutical industry and preferably within neurology, immuno-oncology, fertility, or endocrinology. You have experience with managing cross-functional teams or work groups. You have a proven ability to successfully develop external relationships together with the ability to present to/participate in international working groups. You possess knowledge of National, Regional and Territorial pharmaceutical reimbursement and pricing issues, policies, and trends. Moreover, you have recognized expertise in implementing a pharmaceutical communication plan including generating publications, organizing continuing medical education activities and advocacy development. You are a strategic thinker with the ability to formulate and develop a commercial strategy. Finally, you have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills to lead relationships and projects (externally and internally).
You have a Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Health Economics, or related scientific field.
You have the ability to work independently and deliver results under tight timelines. You have excellent public speaking and written communication skills. Moreover, you possess successful and superior influencing skills across all levels of the organization and with external collaborators. You are a team player with a proactive and winning attitude and business acumen. You have problem solving and risk-mitigation skills and basic financial and budget management skills. As a person, you are confident with a positive attitude, and you are an enthusiastic and charismatic strategic and creative thinker. Finally, you can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment together with a high level of resilience and change agility.
