Exciting Discovery Project Lead position in an innovative biopharmaceutical company
Nykode Therapeutics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Scientist to join the Oncology team as Discovery Project Lead.
As Discovery Project Lead at Nykode Therapeutics, you will have a broad area of responsibility and an opportunity to have a large impact on the lives of patients with cancer.
In this role, you will be the responsible project lead for innovation, research, vaccine, and novel immunotherapeutic drug development activities in the field of cancer immunotherapy.
Your main tasks are:
Your qualifications include an outstanding scientific foundation coupled with practical exposure to oncology, immunology, and immunotherapy. You possess a minimum of three years of professional experience, covering discovery, early-stage product development, and evaluation, whether within the industry or academia. Additionally, you have demonstrated adept leadership in steering cross-functional research projects. You are well-versed in managing Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and proficient in overseeing and nurturing relationships with a spectrum of external partners.
You have a PhD with an excellent scientific background and considerable work experience within oncology, immunology, and immunotherapy.
You are a strong collaborative team player who is enthusiastic, positive, and flexible. You embrace change and Your eagerness to operate at the cutting edge of innovation are notable qualities. While you maintain an open mindset that fosters innovative thinking, you also exhibit a commitment to quality, structure, and accuracy in your work.
Your proactive nature is complemented by your ability to work autonomously, effectively prioritizing tasks and managing time to address unexpected challenges. Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are exceptional, with fluency in English as the primary working language.

Travelling: Limited if you are based in Oslo. More travelling must be expected if you are located in Kongens Lyngby, since your team is based in Oslo. You will have the opportunity to participate in conferences and travel related to internal and external stakeholder management.
