EVP Finance/CFO

As EVP Finance/CFO, you will be overall responsible for Finance, Advanced Analytics, and Business Agility across JYSK in 27 countries  


The EVP Finance/CFO must continue the development of all business areas and functional teams. Continued improvement is an essential mindset for JYSK – a mindset that ensures that Finance, Advanced Analytics, and Business Agility always support the business as an integrated part of the organisation.

The EVP Finance/CFO directly reports to the CEO and is part of the Executive Management Team in JYSK. As EVP Finance/CFO in JYSK, you must be motivated by working on a strategic and tactical level as well as an operational level when it comes to projects, organisational development, business controlling, and the overall business.

The overall responsibility of the EVP Finance/CFO includes the following areas: 

Financial management 

The JYSK Finance organisation comprises approximately 400 employees, hereof approx. 40 are located at JYSK Head Office in Aarhus. The others are located in the countries where JYSK operates in financial departments or Shared Finance Centres. The EVP Finance/CFO will have employees in both direct- and matrix reports. 

  • Timely and accurate internal P&L statements and other reports 
  • Controlling 
  • Budgeting 
  • Internal audit 
  • External audit and reporting 
  • Organisational development  
  • Administrative procedures  

Business Agility and Advanced Analytics 

The Business Agility team and Advanced Analytics team consist of respectively 10 employees and 6 employees and as EVP Finance/CFO you will be responsible for the strategic and tactical development of the function.

You have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience from a similar position within Financial Management and Business Controlling, preferably in Retail or a business with several units, national/international. It is an advantage if you have experience in the field of Business Agility. Furthermore, you have experience with managing, developing, and evaluating the Financial function and supporting the business development and growth so you can support decisions and future initiatives in the JYSK Executive Management Team with relevant data and documentation.

You have a relevant financial education, e.g., HD-R, cand.merc.aud combined with a proven track record. Furthermore, it is expected that you have a broad knowledge of key topics in the area so you can challenge and support the organisation and ensure relevant business development and digital transformation.

You always contribute proactively and professionally to the team. You are structured and take pride in delivering high quality within the deadline.
