As Finance Manager at Y-mAbs Therapeutics, Inc., you will be responsible for accounting, reporting, and controlling and together with the team have the overall responsibility for monthly, quarterly and yearly preparation of accounts and reporting, both internally and externally. The role will span between a broad variety of tasks on both an operational and analytical level.
You will have direct report to the Director of Finance and together with the global finance team you will have an extensive focus on improving processes in all areas of the finance organization. The role as Finance Manager will be crucial in the effort of building an even more solid and mature finance organization, and to succeed in the role it is key that you have high pro-activity, personal drive and resilience to drive change.
Your main tasks can be divided into three primary areas which are:
You are probably working as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller today and ideally, you have a background in a BIG4 audit firm working with PCAOB clients. You could also come directly from the biotech industry or similar industry with an international outlook.
You have a well-documented financial skillset, and preferably you already have experience with controls and you are not afraid of taking part and leading the way when it comes to doing your best in class documentation and ensure compliance with the controls environment (Sarbanes Oxley). Furthermore, you have an analytical mindset and preferably experience with FP&A including preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasting. Furthermore, you are capable of acting as finance business partner to the R&D and SG&A senior leadership team and you have a natural curiosity when it comes to understanding our business.
On top, excel and data processing have been part of your daily work and experience with JET reports and PowerBI is an advantage. It is mandatory that you are fluent in English, both oral and written.
You have a higher education within finance or accounting e.g. cand.merc.aud, HD-R, or similar. Thinking about how to automate and digitize processes come naturally to you as you strive to streamline and challenge existing procedures. You put an honor into performing best practice documentation and have high integrity.
You are a person with a can-do attitude and a positive and proactive approach. You have the ability to work independently with multiple tasks and under ambitious timelines in a fast-paced environment. Furthermore, you have great analytical skills, an eye for details, and good planning and problem handling abilities.
