Group Indirect Spend Manager

Are you passionate about optimisation and indirect costs, and do you want to join a global company in a newly established position? 

 

As Group Indirect Spend Manager at Actona Group, you will analyse and optimise all indirect costs across Actona Group’s upholstery production sites, local administrations in Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine and headquarters in Denmark. To get an overview of different contracts and suppliers you will work closely with stakeholders across all entities, and you will be supported by the Business Development department in getting data insights. 

These responsibilities require a result-oriented, analytical and robust candidate who can negotiate effectively. The candidate also possesses strong communicative competencies and cultural understanding.

With direct report to the VP Group Strategic Sourcing and Indirect Spend, you will have a central position for achieving cost-optimisation, consolidation of contracts, and effectively utilising existing framework agreements aligned with the organisation’s strategic goals. Part of the job is to ensure that Actona Group utilises and obtains synergies with its majority shareholder, Lars Larsen Group. 

Your main tasks are:  

  • Analysing and mapping indirect costs across group entities to identify optimisation opportunities 
  • Contract administration, review and negotiations to identify synergies and ensure competitive terms and alignment across Actona Group
  • Stakeholder management and cooperation with internal stakeholders across the organisation effectively and respectfully

Your qualifications are strong within indirect cost optimisation, supplier selection, contract negotiation and framework agreements, and you have a minimum of 5 years of experience within the field – preferably from a production company. You are a strong merchant used to working with optimisation from a TCO point of view. Furthermore, you can analyse complex data and identify opportunities while maintaining perspective. You appreciate the entire process from analysis to implementation and subsequent follow-up. Finally, you are a skilled project manager who can navigate complex projects, ensuring speed and progress towards the agreed goals. 

You have a relevant educational background in finance, purchasing, supply chain or other relevant areas. 

You have strong communicative competencies, and you can navigate through cultural differences and hierarchies in the organisation. You will use this set of competencies to learn and familiarise yourself with local practices and processes and find the optimal way to implement a valuable optimisation effectively. Finally, you have the ability to work independently and you must be capable of driving change. At the same time, being a team player, establishing and developing strong teamwork focusing on shared goals across locations and cultures is crucial.

Travelling: 60-70 travel days annually in Europe to visit locations, participate in supplier negotiations and build relationships with stakeholders
