Assist top-level management with coordination in a progressive and innovative biopharmaceutical company.

As Personal Assistant (PA) to the Chief Executive Officer at Orphazyme you will join a dedicated team of professionals and become an important part of Orphazyme’s journey in the development of treatments for rare diseases with high unmet medical needs. Orphazyme is based in Copenhagen and you will have direct report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

You will have the main responsibility for ensuring that the CEO can work as effectively as possible, having a busy and travel-heavy day-to-day calendar. Moreover, you will have an outward-facing and coordinating role in the organization, amongst others during the planning and execution of internal and external events, both large- and small-scale.

Your main tasks are:

  • Calendar and inbox management; review, sort and, as appropriate, respond to emails. Ensure that the CEO is aware of critical emails and appointments
  • Engage in long-term planning and time management
  • Travel booking and settlement of travel expense reports for the CEO
  • Preparation of presentations, incl. layout and proofreading
  • Preparation and execution of stakeholder events, incl. travel and venue booking. Plan and provide support for meetings, identify resources (attendees and materials), and ensure that relevant meeting material is prepared and shared with meeting participants
  • Assist with the planning and execution of internal meetings
  • Preparation of annual timelines to ensure sufficient preparation time for recurring major events
  • Adhoc administrative tasks and general daily support to the CEO

You have a degree within communication/administration or similar but most importantly you have a minimum of 5 years of experience from a similar role in an international pharmaceutical or biotech company. You are fluent in English both written and spoken and you master MS Office. You must be able to thrive in an international environment and be confident working across the organization with a broad variety of stakeholders and many different tasks of administrative nature.

As a person you have a positive can-do attitude and you are robust and adaptable. You are extremely structured, persistent, and able to make your voice heard. You have a demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and you have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You are outgoing, well-organized, and eager to learn and you have high-level administration skills. You are able to make decisions and you like a professional challenge. Finally, you are serviceminded and have a keen eye for details and quality.
