As Procurement Manager for Indirect Materials at ALK, you will play a key role in managing tactical and strategic procurement, at the production site in Denmark, for two large and important categories: i) Capex: machines, process equipment, instruments, building construction etc. and ii) Facility Management: cleaning, canteen, building maintenance, machine maintenance etc.
With direct report to Senior Global Procurement Manager.
Your main tasks are:
Your qualifications are a minimum of 2 years experience with tactical and strategic procurement, which you may have gained from a pharmaceutical company, or alternatively from a closely related industry like chemical/food/ ingredients etc. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in complex Capex procurement and Facility Management. You will be working across different production and engineering departments, quality functions, borders, and cultures, which is why organisational flair is a key skill.
You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, pharmacy, business administration, or similar relevant education. It is essential that you are skilled in strategic procurement tools, project management, and engineering practices.
You are a person with a proactive, curious, self-driven and positive mindset. You are very open-minded and thrive in navigating a dynamic and international environment. You are a natural initiator, able to prioritise and establish timelines and structures in your work. You have a can-do attitude, possess integrity, and have a good understanding of stakeholder management. In addition, you are fluent in Danish and English on a business level and are able to communicate with various stakeholders.

Travelling: Approx. 10 days per year
Domicile: ALK’s production site in Hørsholm, Denmark.
