Do you have a technical understanding of RFID, and do you want to take responsibility for developing and driving product strategy including managing the Product Life Cycle process?
Nordic ID, a Brady company offers an exciting role in an international environment where you will act as the right hand of the General Manager in Nordic ID, be part of the management team (5 persons) and be the link between R&D and Sales. The role is as Product Manager / Commercial Engineer, where you will be responsible for defining future product strategy for Brady’s RFID product offer, based on the market needs and demands, as well as translating and communicating it into a strategic perspective for stakeholders.
As Product Manager/Commercial Engineer RFID Solutions you will be responsible for developing and driving the product strategy including managing the Product Life Cycle process, driving product planning, and securing that the portfolio is both updated, relevant for the market, and financially healthy.
From an in-depth understanding of the technology and the business mechanics as well as the customers’ challenges, constraints, business needs, and processes, the Product Manager/Commercial Engineer RFID solutions will define the core markets and applications to focus on as well as the total RFID solution required to be successful.
You have a minimum of 5 years of technical experience with RFID and understand how to develop a product strategy and convert strategy into products.
You also have a profound business understanding and know the importance of a high level of communication and have a fully developed ability to work with stakeholder management at all levels in an international environment both internal and external.
You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics, supplemented by a commercial or financial education e.g., MBA.
You are a person with a high drive and thrive in dynamic environments. You have the ability to take the lead, keep a holistic perspective and set direction within your area of responsibility and in business matters. You seek possibilities and have an entrepreneurial mindset and a natural engagement in developing the business and leading by example
Travelling: 30 days a year internationally
Domicile: The headquarter in Salo, Finland, but with the possibility to work from home. However, it is required to visit the sites in Salo and/or Helsinki a minimum of 2 days a week.
