Do you want to help farmers globally in their pursuit to optimize animal welfare?
SKOV’s ambition is to be the largest and most acknowledged supplier of climate and farm management solutions for livestock production, thereby ensuring optimum conditions for animals, people, and the environment.
With direct report to the R&D Manager, System Software you will be a key figure in guiding state of the art solutions to the market and influence the development processes, as SKOV continues to grow within the coming years.
Your working day will be varied as you will be in contact with different stakeholders across the entire SKOV group. After a concept has been approved you will manage the entire development project. You will be part of the development process from initial analysis and specification, design, and development through to final participation in the test phase and follow-up with the customers after the product has been put into production.
SKOV uses combination of Stage-Gate and SAFe as their development methodology, and the project, will include a “flair” for prototyping to quickly help validate concepts together with the product management and customers.
Projects will range from in-house developed SCADA systems to the insourcing of external developed BI systems running in the cloud. SKOV’s technology stack ranges from the .NET Framework for their desktop solution, to Reach, Kubernetes, Azure, and .NET Core for their next-gen cloud solution and Xamarin and Android IOS for their mobile app.
Your main tasks include:
Your qualifications can be diverse, but we expect you to have solid experience in driving and managing complex technical projects and that you master all the traditional project manager disciplines. You have an interest in IT and software-architecture, and you have experience working with agile development methodologies.
You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree within engineering, IT or something completely different. Your experience with project management, ideally from a production company, is far more important than your theoretical background.
You are a person who likes to work with different people and has a can-do-attitude. A working day will be exciting and varied, therefore it is a must, that the Project Manager thrives being in contact with many colleagues both inside and outside the project team.
