Senior Accountant

Do you want to be part of a strong and dedicated finance team in an international company that really makes a difference?


As Senior Accountant at Y-mAbs, you will join a global finance team. The team is responsible for accounting, reporting and controlling in Y-mAbs. The team is overall responsible for monthly, quarterly and yearly preparation of accounts and reporting internally and externally, and the responsibilities in the position will span from an operational to an analytical level.

With direct report to the Director of Finance, the Senior Accountant will participate in Financial Closing and general accounting functions for both Danish & US entities and be part of the participation in the control envirionment and documentation, which must comply with US SOX regulatives.

The Senior Accountant will also be involved in process and system optimization of the ERP system Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC 365). Y-mAbs aim is to leverage BC 365 to streamline and automate their processes for even better effiency.

Key Responsibilities – Financial Closing & General Accounting (70%)

  • Monthly controls (SOX) and classic recurring tasks such as bank reconciliation, interco reconciliation, HCP spend reporting and lead on various postings (assets, payroll and leases)
  • Support the process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting under US GAAP
  • Support with documentation for internal and external auditors to support SEC fillings
  • Support the local statutory tax and VAT reporting

Key Responsibilities – Process and system optimization (30%)

  • Leverage expertise in BC 365 to optimize the ERP system and streamline processes
  • Focus on process optimization, moving from manual processes towards greater automization
  • End-User Support (provide technical support and training to end users)

You have a mininmum of 5 years experience from a similar position, and has well developed skills in accounting and financial principles and practical technical knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP. Furthermore, you have have experience with BC 365, Dynamics or Navision.

You have a relevant financial education within finance and/or accounting (e.g., financial management or HD-R) and has strong documentation skills to ensure that closings, procedures, and internal controls are documented. You have a natural interest in optimizing and improving processes and see yourself as analytically strong. In addition, as a person you are energetic, proactive and independent, and you manage to approach tasks in a structured and analytical manner.
