As Software Engineer at Scio+, you will be a member of an international, highly motivated, and self-driven team of software developers and data scientists. Scio+ is a big data and analytics company specialising in converting production data into beneficial information.
In securing a sustainable future for agriculture, farmers are highly dependent on real-time data enabling them to manage their farms to ensure food for the growing population. As a Software Engineer in Scio+, you will play a vital role in designing and developing solutions that help farmers worldwide with the necessary information to optimise their production with respect to animal welfare.
Through data-driven decisions, you will help the farmers with information to create effective livestock production and at the same time ensure traceability, animal welfare, and lower environmental impact.
Your main tasks are:
You are an experienced software developer, who understands the challenges of designing and implementing software services in an event-driven data environment. You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar position. You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. You have in-depth knowledge in the areas of Java, C#, Python, and Azure Cloud.
You are a person who is driven by a desire to improve your skills as well as learn about new areas. You are a great team player, who believes in goals reached through the unison of high competencies and collaboration. You are proactive and energetic with an agile mindset.
