We are looking for a people manager with great leadership qualification

As Site Director, you will be responsible for the total site including production and office functions. The site is a modern factory owned by a well-established and well-respected Danish company in the food industry and holds approx. 40 employees.

The Site Director will cooperate at a strategic, operational, and technical level with an extensive network within the mother company.

The main responsibility areas of the role are to organize, lead, and manage the production to deliver the right quality and quantity at the right time, in a safe manner, meeting the customers’ demands at the lowest possible manufacuring costs.

Your main tasks are:

  • Visible and motivational management including continued focus on a high level of well-being for employees
  • Development and structuring the organization to meet future demands and challenges
  • Development of employees incl. planning and implementation of the necessary training of employees
  • Make goals and business plans visible for the employees
  • Contribute to the greatest possible cooperation between the functions of the site
  • Responsibility for keeping delivery targets according to master plan

Your qualifications include at least 3 -5 years of experience with managing a production facility with more than 20 employees. You have full value chain understanding and are comfortable communicating to all levels in an organization. You are fluent in English and one Scandinavian language and are a practiced user of IT systems.

You have a relevant business degree or a technical education at the same level. Practical experience with management of a production unit is most important.

You are a person with drive and a personality to continuously motivate and coach your team towards reaching agreed KPIs. You are result-oriented and have a structured approach to complex tasks, and at the same time, you have an understanding of safety and quality processes. You have excellent communication skills and are able to navigate with sensitivity across different cultures in a dynamic and international environment with many interfaces and stakeholders. You have a modern leadership style: you take the lead, communicate goals and direction, you have a focus on employee involvement and have a natural respect for other people.

Domicile: On site in Asia. A minimum of a 3 year ex pat contract is preferred.
