As Financial Accountant at Ramboll, you will join Ramboll’s Nordic Finance & Accounting team, which comprises 23 skilled colleagues across their offices in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. You will be based in the Accounting Operations team in Copenhagen, and the day-to-day work will involve close collaboration with colleagues throughout the Nordic region and across the wider Ramboll organisation.
With direct report to the Head of Accounting Operations, you will be part of a professional and inspiring work environment, collaborating with experienced colleagues from both own and other disciplines. Your main tasks are:
- Participate in the daily operations of the accounts receivable function.
- Reconciling and analysing accounts receivable and general ledger accounts.
- Assisting with accounts payable and bank-related tasks.
- Intercompany reconciliation and participation in month-end closing.
- Contributing to the development and optimisation of financial processes.
Your qualifications are at least five years of professional experience in a similar financial accounting role, preferably within a global or multi-national organisation. Experience in performing account reconciliations for accounts receivable and financial transactions is a key aspect of the role. You must be adept at identifying discrepancies and resolving them efficiently to maintain accurate financial records.
You have a relevant degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field. Continued professional development or certifications within finance or accounting will be an advantage.
You are a highly detail-oriented and organised person who can manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, as you must identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records. A proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement are crucial for this role’s success.
