Head of Sourcing

As Head of Sourcing, you will be responsible for all direct and indirect sourcing across Kamstrup and, together with your organisation, building a reliable and efficient sourcing setup while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, resilience, and alignment with Kamstrup's goals.

The Head of Sourcing will report to Senior Vice President – Supply Chain and be a part of the Supply Chain management team. The sourcing organisation covers Direct Sourcing, Indirect Sourcing, and Supplier Quality & Compliance with 29 employees in total. All operational purchasing is placed in each business unit supply chain. 

For the coming years, the focus of the sourcing organisation will be resilience, cost management, and sustainability. Your overall responsibility will, therefore, be to ensure the best possible supplier base by establishing and maintaining appropriate supplier relationships and further developing category strategies for all direct and indirect spending. Furthermore, it is your responsibility to build scalable sourcing processes supporting Kamstrup’s global expansion. 

You have at least 10 years of experience with procurement/sourcing and solid experience managing complex international sourcing functions. Your knowledge comes from a global production company, preferably with experience sourcing and procuring electronics. Furthermore, you have experience leading a larger sourcing organisation with a trustworthy and empowering approach.

You have a master’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, economics or another related area. You have gained experience setting a strategy for resilience and dual sourcing and experience with cost management and developing sustainability across the sourcing organisation. You have an analytical approach to your work and are not only able to develop the strategies but also to ensure the tactical execution of the initiatives.
