Logistics Manager, GFR

Shape the future of global logistics at a growing international company 

As Logistics Manager at Actona Group, you will play a key role in developing and implementing best practices across Actona's logistics operations – ensuring full compliance with internal procedures, customs regulations, and market-specific delivery requirements.  
 
With direct report to VP Commercial Operations, you will proactively address  
deviations and operational challenges, working closely with both internal teams and external partners to identify and implement the most efficient and sustainable logistics solutions. 
 
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Actona Group’s global  
transportation operations, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant deliveries while  
maintaining high standards for safety and customer service. 
 
Your main tasks are:  

• Transportation Planning and Coordination
• Relationship Management
• Compliance and Safety
• Team Leadership
• Cost Control and Efficiency
• Customer Service and Communication 

Your qualifications include a minimum of 3 years of experience as a manager with a proven track record within Supply Chain/Logistics. You have worked in a transport company or an internal transport/logistics department in a medium to large organisation with international operations. 
 
You hold a Bachelor’s degree or a freight forwarding qualification. 
 
You are motivated by professional development in your area of responsibility and are naturally curious about how digital systems and integrations can improve everyday efficiency. You bring strong leadership and management skills, an analytical mindset, and a structured approach to problem-solving. You communicate effectively across cultures and functions and are a skilled negotiator with solid international experience. You thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment and are motivated by building and optimising processes in a growing international business.
