Product Director
Join Chora as Product Director and lead the success of its products by driving strategy, managing the product roadmap, and collaborating closely with stakeholders across the company
The role of Product Director is newly created, and it emphasises a strong focus on the product life cycle, ensuring that each stage, from development to market introduction and eventual phase-out, is strategically managed. It is a market-oriented position that requires a deep understanding of customer needs, competitive dynamics, and trends to drive product success and align offerings with market demands.
As Product Director, you will be responsible for the success of Chora’s products, setting the product strategy as leader of the product board, maintaining the product roadmap and working closely with the specialist team. The position includes marketing, forecasting, sales cooperation, and overall responsibility for product development and revenue budgets.
Your main areas of responsibility are:
- Taking overall responsibility for the success of products, providing sales with insights on key differentiators and USP's
- Responsible for developing business cases to guarantee a solid ROI
- Developing product strategy and vision
- Building a small team of product managers to take responsibility for product families
- Engaging in active communication with key strategic customers and partners
- Arranging and leading the Product Board Meetings four to five times a year
- Meeting regularly with all stakeholders
- Managing product development budgets
- Creating timelines and roadmaps for developing the product
- Attend relevant conferences and events and provide technical support expertise to sales exhibitions and events
- Engaging and building relationships with customers, channel partners and their technical representatives
You have at least 8 years of experience working in a pre-sales or technical product marketing environment, preferably focusing on Electronic Warfare (EW), EW operations or End-user sales in a similar industry.
Ideally, you have a degree in technical specialism or experience from operating in EW.
You have outstanding presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written. You are innovative but have a logical approach to problem-solving with a solution and market orientation.
You are a highly motivated individual who is hungry for a new challenge. You take responsibility seriously and are committed to succeeding in whatever you take on.
Travelling: Approximately 40 days/year.
