Supply Chain Manager

As Supply Chain Manager at Best Friend Group, you will lead end-to-end supply chain operations across Denmark and Finland, ensuring timely deliveries to major retailers and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
You will report directly to the CFO/COO and manage key areas such as forecasting, inventory planning, logistics, and supplier coordination, ensuring efficient and scalable operations. Leading a team of 28 employees across two locations, you will guide warehouse managers and specialists to ensure smooth operations. With all production outsourced, your role will be critical in managing the lead time from order placement to delivery, making accurate forecasting essential.
Your main tasks are:
- Lead and manage a supply chain organisation of 28 employees across two countries, including warehouse managers and functional specialists.
- Drive the forecasting and inventory planning process, working closely with sales and procurement to ensure product availability while avoiding overstock and stockouts.
- Working with key suppliers and ensuring vendor relationship management, in close cooperation with Procurement.
- Manage logistics and operational planning, ensure timely, accurate deliveries while maintaining high-quality supply chain master data.
You bring 8 years of experience in supply chain and sourcing, with at least 5 years in leadership. You have a strong foundation in logistics, forecasting, and supplier coordination, and a background in the food industry, FMCG, or retail would be a valuable asset. Your leadership abilities allow you to drive development and lead diverse teams effectively within a complex organisation. You thrive in a data-driven, proactive environment and excel at collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
You have a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. You are comfortable working in Microsoft Office and have strong Excel skills, including experience with advanced functions and data analysis. It is an advantage if you have experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta), Power BI, and large-scale data warehouse solutions.
You are a proactive, results-driven leader who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment. You combine strong operational insight with a strategic mindset and bring a data-driven, analytical approach to decision-making. With excellent interpersonal skills, you can influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams, even in complex organisational settings.
Travelling: You have a team of employees located in Finland, and therefore, you can look forward to travelling to Finland once a month, typically for a few days, to stay closely connected with the team there.
