Drug Product Scientist

Symphogen is in an exciting phase as the Antibody Center of Excellence in Servier with a continued focus on the development of antibody-based therapeutic products for the treatment of cancer and inflammatory/autoimmune diseases.

As a Drug Product Scientist, you will help Symphogen on this mission and join the Drug Product Development Department, and you will be offered a unique opportunity to take part in the development of Symphogen’s antibody drug products.

As a part of Drug Product Development, you will strengthen the drug product process development and manufacturing, and/or be responsible for development and GMP stability studies in collaboration with CMOs. You will collaborate closely with staff from the CMC Biologics group and be a member of international cross-functional project teams to ensure development progress.

The Drug Product Development department is responsible for:

  • Drug product process development of liquid and lyophilized drug product
  • Oversight of clinical drug product manufacturing of liquid and lyophilized drug product
  • Non-GMP and GMP stability studies for drug substances, drug products, and reference material
  • Formulation development
  • In-use compatibility studies
  • Authoring documentation for the authorities

Your qualifications include a minimum of two years of relevant industry experience preferably with knowledge about physical and chemical properties of proteins, as well as GMP. It is a plus if you bring experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing or have been working with stability studies.

You have a relevant education at master degree level, such as cand.pharm., cand.scient., cand.polyt., or equivalent.

As a person, you are self-driven, pragmatic, and capable of working effectively in teams. A commitment to your work, a proactive attitude, and a sense of humour are also essential qualities.

Travelling: Limited. Approx. ten days per year.
