Sales Support Manager

Do you want to be part of an international company, and lead the Sales Support team on a growth journey?

As Sales Support Manager at KMC, you will be responsible for handling assignments related to leadership and hands-on tasks regarding internal and external sales support. Furthermore, you will be responsible for a team consisting of seven Sales Supporters and the alignment and collaboration with the international Sales offices at KMC.

With direct report to Global Sales Director, you will be leading the Sales Support team, which is an important part of the role and includes a focus on developing the employees within the team.

In addition, you will focus on both strategic and hands-on tasks related to internal and external sales. This includes delivering up-to-date customer master data in the ERP system and ensuring that samples and claims are handled according to defined standards. Furthermore, you will be responsible for creating contracts (BSO) and ensuring the correct balance between orders, BSO and forecasts in collaboration with the team.

Your main tasks are:

  • Managing and developing KMC’s Sales Support team
  • Integration and alignment with the international Sales offices
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Internal and external sales support
  • Deliver up-to-date customer master data in the ERP system
  • Handling claims and orders
  • Creating contracts (BSO) and forecasts

You have a solid commercial understanding and a leadership toolbox. It would be an advantage if the experience is from an international sales support role within the production or industrial industry. You also have experience supporting and advising customers and external stakeholders regarding aspects of the sales process. In addition, experience with internal sales support is an advantage as well.

Moreover, the candidate has solid experience leading a sales support team, including experience with talent development, change management, situational leadership and workforce planning. The candidate also has experience with hands-on sales support tasks, including handling orders, claims, contracts etc., to ensure the highest customer satisfaction.

You have an appropriate formal educational background, e.g. diploma of leadership, HD, Bachelor in Business Administration or a related area of education.

You are a strong communicator and a team player with solid commercial and analytical skills, motivated by working in a dynamic environment. Moreover, you have strong coordination skills and can work systematically and carefully. In addition, you have a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. You strive to make a difference, see challenges as opportunities and can embrace changes.
