Become the driver of HSQE Excellence in Denmark and Norway and elevate standards in a global company.
As HSQE Manager, Denmark & Norway at SSI Schäfer, you will be crucial in maintaining, defining, and enhancing safety standards for SSI Schäfer and its customer sites. During the next period, the global team will roll out a compliance-based strategy focusing on designing and standardising HSQE systems and processes across locations.
With direct report to Managing Director, Denmark and in dotted line to HSQE North and East Europe your primary focus is to make sure that local laws, regulations, and policies comply with SSI Schäfers global standards and processes.
Your main tasks are among others:
You have at least five years of experience from a similar position within HSQE and knowledge of local (Denmark and Norway) laws, regulations, and policies. Moreover, you have experience developing and structuring the function administration, advising, and creating standards. Preferably, you are experienced working in an international matrix organisation.
You have relevant education, e.g., APV (Arbejdsmiljøuddannelsen) or within engineering or HR. However, relevant experience with ISOs and experience defining systems and processes are more important.
Certifications in ISOs are an advantage (9001, 14001, and 45001).
You are a person with excellent communication, organisational, and planning skills and can develop highly effective working relationships across all levels by building credibility and appropriately challenging people.
