As Senior Legal Counsel at ISS, you will be directly involved in a strategic transformation process, which includes M&A transactions in a number of Eastern European countries among others. Furthermore, you will be involved in carving out and establishing structures to ensure continued service delivery to global customers either by ISS directly via a dedicated delivery set-up or through a strategic partnership set-up (subcontractor).
ISS is looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel, who will become a key legal capacity and a hands-on business partner to senior stakeholders in the M&A processes.
You will be expected to act independently and with agility, handling transactions while securing Corporate Governance and Compliance. You will work in close cooperation with Strategic Transformation and the M&A team in Group Finance as well as local external counsel, and you will play a key role in the successful execution of the project.
With direct report to Legal Business Partner Strategic Transformation.
Your main tasks are:
You have a Master’s Degree in Law (Cand.Jur.) or in Business Administration and Commercial Law (Cand.Merc.Jur.) combined with solid M&A experience from a major law firm and/or a legal function in corporate business, where you hold a Senior Legal M&A role. You have extensive experience with executing on complex or larger M&A projects, drafting contracts and negotiating. You have strong hands-on drafting skills and possess a commercial understanding combined with financial acumen.

You set high standards for your work and thrive in a high-performance working environment. Travelling: The job will require travel activity at the level of one week per month.
